چکیده

In a previous study we provided analytical and experimental evidence that some materials are able to store entropy-flow, of which the heat-conduction behaves as standing waves in a bounded region small enough in practice. In this paper we continue to develop distributed control of heat conduction in these thermal-inductive materials. The control objective is to achieve subtle temperature distribution in space and simultaneously to suppress its transient overshoots in time. This technology concerns safe and accurate heating/cooling treatments in medical operations, polymer processing, and other prevailing modern day practices. Serving for distributed feedback, spatiotemporal μ / ∞ H control is developed by expansion of the conventional 1Dμ / ∞ H control to a 2D version. Therein 2D geometrical isomorphism is constructed with the Laplace-Galerkin transform, which extends the small-gain theorem into the mode-frequency domain, wherein 2D transfer-function controllers are synthesized with graphical methods. Finally, 2D digital-signal processing is programmed to implement 2D transfer-function controllers, possibly of spatial fractionorders, into DSP-engine embedded microcontrollers. Using the Lattice Boltzmann Method for the numerical study of non-fourier conduction with variable thermal conductivity

The lattice Boltzmann method (LBM) was used to analyze two-dimensional (2D) non-Fourier heat conduction with temperature-dependent thermal conductivity. To this end, the evolution of wave-like temperature distributions in a 2D plate was obtained. The temperature distributions along certain parts of the plate, which was subjected to heat generation and constant thermal conductivity condit...

Non-Fourier heat conduction equation in a sphere; comparison of variational method and inverse Laplace transformation with exact solution

Small scale thermal devices, such as micro heater, have led researchers to consider more accurate models of heat in thermal systems. Moreover, biological applications of heat transfer such as simulation of temperature field in laser surgery is another pathway which urges us to re-examine thermal systems with modern ones. Non-Fourier heat transfer overcomes some shortcomings of Fourier heat tran...

A truly meshless method formulation for analysis of non-Fourier heat conduction in solids

The non-Fourier effect in heat conduction is important in strong thermal environments and thermal shock problems. Generally, commercial FE codes are not available for analysis of non-Fourier heat conduction. In this study, a meshless formulation is presented for the analysis of the non-Fourier heat conduction in the materials. The formulation is based on the symmetric local weak form of the sec...

Significance of Heat Conduction Parameter along the Rolling Direction in the Thermal Modeling of the Hot Rolling Process

Obtaining temperature distribution data of slabs under rolling is essential as the mechanical and metallurgical properties of the metal under this process vary with temperature. Using the control volume method, a mathematical model is employed in this study to predict slab temperature in the hot roll process at Mobarakeh Steel Company. The effects of different parameters including the heat resu...

Heat Transfer in Semitransparent Medium Caused by Laser Pulse

In this paper, the combination of conduction with radiation into a semitransparent medium which includes absorption, emission and scattering has been investigated. In order to Study the conduction in medium, the Non-Fourier heat conduction has been applied. In this model there is a time delay between heat flux and temperature gradient. Also, in contrast with Fourier heat conduction, the speed o...
